The 611 Ergowave ltd. Endless Summer saddle is identical to the 611 Ergowave active S-Tube model with integrated active technology except for the Kevlar edge protection. The saddle - with its wave-like shape and raised rear - provides a perfect rear hold and an optimal pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body. Meaning, the power transmission to the pedal is considerably improved. The deeper nose combined with the deepening in the middle creates more room and free space for the dam area.
For even better pressure relief, especially on longer climbs in the terrain, the saddle nose of the 611 was designed approx. 4mm wider compared to the 612 (but just as flat and with the largest possible contact surface). The padding material has been adapted to the requirements of the MTB and offers more damping in rough terrain than the 612 Ergowave models. Instead of the Kevlar protection, the Endless Summer ltd. Edition has chosen a cleaner material that is hard-wearing but at the same time dirt-repellent. With SQlab Active saddle technology, the saddle follows the pedal movement, comfort increases, the intervertebral discs are mobilised and the pressure on the seat bones is minimised.
1966, Bruce Brown writes movie history with his surfer film: The Endless Summer Hardly anyone else conveyed the attitude to life of the 1960s as he did. Freedom and adventure, lots of fun and a summer that should never end. With the limited ERGOWAVE Endless Summer Edition in Green, SQlab invites you not only to see MTB as a sport, but also to live "sitting in the saddle" as a shared attitude to life. Mountain biking means everything for the well-rehearsed developer trio of SQlab: Tobias Hild, Tibor Simai and Mitch Schlecht not only have made their hobby their profession: biking is a way of life that unites the three. True to the motto of Bruce Brown's film they want to take up the feeling of the Endless Summer again and carry it into the MTB world
