The Seismic is the latest Reverse handlebar and equipped with the Seismic technology. Reverse has developed this technology over the past two years from suggestions from their racing teams for a handlebar with a corresponding self-damping. They were able to access extensive tests from the EFBe test laboratory in order to satisfy the desire for less arm pump without impairing the durability of the handlebars.
All reverse handlebars and stems are tested according to the EFBE standard MTB-G. The "G" stands for Gravity. The components are tested in a three-phase test.
Each 100,000 cycles of counter-phase and in-phase loading followed by a maximum load test within the scope of the intended use. Finally, an overload test is carried out beyond the intended use to simulate a foreseeable misuse or accidental damage.
These maximum and overload tests are extremely important for the driver, especially with lightweight construction and carbon elements, so that he can rely on the material even in extreme situations.
