The new 32 fork with standard chassis is specially optimised for 120 mm travel and is the lightest suspension fork Fox has ever developed. The new design with the hollow graduation in the immersion tubes allows a slim profile and saves weight without affecting the stability and functionality of the Fox 32.
Inspired by motocross technology, the GRIP damper cartridge works with a spring-loaded, independently operating floating piston. The GRIP technique allows the excess damping oil to flow through ports at the top of the damper, ensuring even damping and increasing durability. The Performance Series forks have Open, Medium and Firm modes as well as an additional fine-tuning option between these three basic settings.
FLOAT AIR SPRING
Patented air transfer portsystem
The FLOAT air suspension system reduces the breakaway torque and thus offers a highly sensitive fork and full comfort even with small impacts. This applies for all types of riders and at varying air pressures.
Similar to the FLOAT suspension struts, the FLOAT suspension system is characterised by positive and negative air chambers, which automatically balance each other out when riding. Every rider therefore enjoys the benefits of the correct, precisely balanced air pressure in both air chambers. The progression of the spring characteristic curve can be adjusted with the air volume spacers - enabling every driver to precisely adjust the characteristics of the air spring.
AIR VOLUME SPACERS
The FLOAT air suspension of the Fox forks and struts can be fine-tuned using volume spacers to make the suspension elements more or less progressive. This allows the rider to fine-tune the suspension exactly to his or her needs.
